  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)

  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, chopped nuts, shredded coconut


  1. Scoop the flesh of the ripe avocado into a blender or food processor.

  2. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk.

  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
