Baked Chicken Breast
Baked chicken breast is simple, juicy and ready for 5 minutes of prep. This basic chicken breast recipe is going to be your go-to! You'll be shocked that the juicy chicken breast is baked uncovered.
Preheat the oven at 450 degrees F.
Place chicken, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper in a medium baking dish. Using tongs or hands, transfer chicken around to cover both sides equally (I place the bottom of the breast on top of the seasoned one and then swoosh around).
Bake at an internal temperature of 25 minutes (thinner) to 35 minutes (2"+) or up to 150 degrees F. Remove from the oven, cover with foil or lid, and let the juices settle for 10 minutes. (do not skip!)
Slice against the grain and serve with a salad or with jasmine rice. For weekly meal preparation, use salads and casseroles.
